April 17, 2023

Three partners will present at the annual E.CA Expert Forum, which provides practitioners, enforcers, and academics from around the world insights into recent developments in competition law and economics.

Partner Eric Emch will co-present the session “DMA—Trial and Error Regulation?” in which he will discuss highlights from recent economic research and explore unintended consequences of the Digital Markets Act and how to avoid them. Partner George Rozanski will speak on the panel “Welfare in Competition Policy—A View of (former) DG Competition Chief Economists.” He and co-panelists will examine issues such as whether presumption-based enforcement should be strengthened and if consumer welfare should be the focus of competition policy.
