Bates White supports Bread for City with semi-annual clothing drives, donations to the Holiday Helpings Program, a wine auction, and economic analysis.
Bates White has supported Children’s Law Center for many years with fundraising efforts, gifts for the Holiday Hope Drive, and pro bono work. Fundraisers often include game show adaptations including the Not So-Newlywed game, the Price is Right, Family Feud, and the Great Bates White Bake-off. CLC named Bates White the Corporate Champion for Children six years in a row.
To benefit DC Scores, a team of employees plays soccer in the annual DC SCORES CUP. To raise money, employees pay to play in competitions such as a week-long mini-crossword puzzle race, a music challenge, and our own customized Wordle competition. Click on the video above to learn more.
For many years, employees have served as mentors in Higher Achievement centers, conducted pro bono analyses, raised money through creative competitions, and served on Higher Achievement’s leadership council. Click on the video above to learn about Throwdown, our annual cooking competition.
Through some Halloween fun, we support Hope Connections. Employees carve pumpkins, dress their managers in crazy outfits, and take part in team costume competitions to support this cause.
Employees put their writing skills to the test to support K9s For Warriors, a nonprofit pairing veterans with shelter dogs.
Employees donated hundreds of clothing items and other supplies to Bread for the City.
Our youngest Bates Whiters tested their speed in various Minute-to-Win-it challenges to support Ellie’s Hats on Take Our Kids to Work Day.
