Independent evaluation for Hawaii RFPs
On behalf of the Hawaii Public Utilities Commission, acted as Independent Observer for procurements by the Hawaiian Electric Companies for renewable energy generation and energy on the islands of Oahu and Hawaii, as well as for grid services from distributed energy resources on Oahu, Hawaii, and Maui. The request for proposals collectively solicited approximately 900 megawatts of new renewable generation, as well as 210 megawatts of grid services. Vincent Musco advised on the design of the procurement and is currently directing the assessment and evaluation of more than 75 proposals received.
