Collin Cain is a consulting and testifying expert in Bates White’s Energy Practice with more than 20 years of experience advising clients and testifying on issues related to wholesale power markets. He has extensive experience developing market pricing and risk analysis models and has applied these models in a variety of consulting assignments to assess the effect of market design alternatives, value power supply offers and generation assets, and develop supply hedging strategies. Mr. Cain has provided expert testimony on market design, cost allocation, benefit/cost analysis, contract damages, power market modeling, and energy market bidding behavior.
