Partner Joseph Farrell will present at the Third Annual Antitrust & Tech Conference “Ignited by Tech: The Next Merger (Guidelines) Wave.” The conference, jointly sponsored by George Washington University Competition Law Center and Crowell & Moring, focuses on how antitrust enforcement and proposed reforms to the merger guidelines may impact transactions in digital and non-digital markets.
Recent merger activity in digital markets has led to a call for increased merger enforcement and revisions to both the horizontal and vertical merger guidelines. Conference speakers examine how the guidelines and enforcement may change and what this will mean for companies engaging in transactions. As a discussant in the concluding “fireside chat,” Dr. Farrell will reflect on the panel discussions and what it all means for future merger enforcement.
