Cory Capps was retained by merging parties to assist in clearing their $13 billion integration before the Federal Trade Commission (FTC). The team, led by Dr. Capps and Kevin Pflum, conducted analyses and submitted white papers that showed the combination was unlikely to harm competition. Drs. Capps and Pflum presented their findings to the FTC. The team also assisted the parties with second request compliance. The FTC allowed the transaction to close.
