Siemens-Alstom merger
Retained by Siemens and Alstom, two global railroad industry firms, to analyze the likely competitive impact in the United States and Canada of their proposed merger. Extensively supplemented existing CRM data using publicly available information and then used the resulting database to demonstrate that competition in a key segment at issue would likely not be affected by the proposed merger. The Antitrust Division of the DOJ excluded the segment from its second request.
