Put-back RMBS matter
Bates White's expert testified on issues involving sampling, damages, and materiality in a put-back RMBS matter. Drew a sample to be used throughout the course of the litigation and used that sample to calculate damages suffered by the Certificateholders of the trusts. Performed analyses to show that the defects on the loans underlying the trusts did in fact have a material impact on the amount of loss suffered by the Trusts and therefore by the Certificateholders.
