Muxi Yang is an Economist in the Mass Torts Practice at Bates White. She received her PhD from Cornell University, where she taught undergraduate and graduate courses in Behavioral Economics and Energy Economics. She has extensive experience working with large-scale data sets to perform empirical analysis using causal-inference econometrics and statistical modeling. In her doctoral studies, Dr. Yang specialized in environmental and energy economics. Her dissertation research focuses on innovative and complex applications of statistical decision-making models to derive optimal targeting strategies for large-scale energy conservation programs. Her research has been published in the Journal of the Association of Environmental and Resource Economists and the World Bank working paper series.
