Marjorie Romero has experience monitoring utility procurements in numerous markets. She has participated in different procurement processes in different jurisdictions, where she has reviewed the requests for proposals and bidding rules; conducted test bids; reviewed and updated rate models; participated in trial auctions; monitored final auctions; verified final auction results; and prepared summaries, reports, and presentations for different State Commissions. In addition, Ms. Romero conducts analysis of intercompany transactions to establish appropriate arm’s-length pricing for transactions between related parties, across different jurisdictions for different industry sectors. She has also conducted research and provided analytical support in matters related to regulated industries such as liquid fuels and electricity, as well as in disputes regarding regulated water concessions.
