Summary

Dajun Lin is a Senior Economist in the Antitrust and Competition Practice at Bates White. He earned his PhD from the University of Virginia, where he built and estimated structural models to understand how workers make career choices. During his doctoral studies, he had extensive experience with large-scale administrative data sets and survey data sets, simulation methods, and parallel computing.

Prior to Bates White, Dr. Lin was an Economist at the American Institutes for Research, where he conducted evaluation studies with a focus on improving the lives of disadvantaged citizens. He has also performed contract work for federal agencies, including the Social Security Administration, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, the Health Resources and Services Administration, and the Medicare Payment Advisory Commission. Dr. Lin has published in the Journal of Health Economics, the American Journal of Preventive Medicine, and Labour Economics, among others.
