Bates White has been named one of The Washington Post’s 2025 Top Workplaces in the Washington, DC area—the 10th consecutive year the firm has been recognized. The firm is ranked #18 on the list of mid-sized companies.
Managing Partner Scott Weishaar said, “Reaching this milestone of being recognized as a Top Workplace for 10 consecutive years is a tremendous honor and a testament to the dynamic and supportive culture we’ve built at Bates White. This achievement is especially meaningful because it reflects the voices and experiences of our employees, who make our firm such a special place to work.”
Selection for the Top Workplaces list is based solely on employee feedback gathered through a third-party survey administered by employee engagement technology partner Energage LLC. The confidential survey evaluates several workplace culture aspects, including alignment, execution, and connection. In completing the survey for 2025, Bates White employees highlighted the firm’s collaborative and engaging culture, robust professional development opportunities, and the emphasis placed on mentorship and career growth.
Bates White consistently receives recognition on a national level through career resource platforms like Vault and Management Consulted. Earlier this year, Vault ranked Bates White #10 on its 2025 list of the 50 best consulting firms to work for in North America and Bates White’s Summer Consultant Program #4 on Vault’s 2025 Best Consulting Internships list. The firm was also named on Management Consulted’s list of top consulting firms for the third consecutive year—just one of five firms in the economic and litigation consulting category.
Bates White is proud to celebrate a decade as one of Washington, DC’s Top Workplaces and remains committed to fostering an environment where employees thrive and excel.
