As cartel investigations begin to increase after the COVID pandemic, agencies and defendants are facing new challenges. Partner Rachel Grinberg will participate in GCR Live Law Leaders Global 2024 on the panel “Cartel Investigations: Back to the Future?” She and co-panelists will explore those challenges and trends as investigations move forward within the context of shifting antitrust paradigms and post-COVID business realities. Topics include leniency as a defense tool for the agencies and companies, new tools agencies are using to detect and prosecute cartels, how the nature of cartel investigations is shifting, and lessons from the recent US experience in litigated cases.
