Partner Leslie Marx gave the Competition Policy Keynote Lecture at the 2023 CRESSE Conference on Advances in the Analysis of Competition Policy and Regulation. Her topic was “Efficient Trade on Networks.” Dr. Marx also was a discussant for the paper “Platform Competition and App Development” by Doh-Shin Jeon and Patrick Rey, both of the Toulouse School of Economics.
CRESSE conferences deal with competition and/or regulation issues, with emphasis on the policy relevance of recent research. They offer an opportunity for high-quality research papers to be presented and discussed in detail and provide a forum for academic economists, legal experts, policy makers, and practitioners to exchange ideas in panels that discuss important topical policy issues.
