The hearing is sponsored by the Massachusetts Health Policy Commission annually to examine the drivers of healthcare costs; top healthcare executives and industry leaders testify at this public hearing. The theme of this year’s hearing is “The Imperative for Cost Containment, Affordability, and Equity: Reimagining Health Care in the Context of COVID-19 and Beyond.” Dr. Dafny’s keynote focuses on “Wronged by Wrong Prices: Protecting Consumers in Healthcare Markets.”
