Kevin Pflum speaks on antitrust risks in healthcare labor markets

From prosecuting no-poach agreements to investigating the potential merger effects on labor monopsony power, the Department of Justice (DOJ) and Federal Trade Commission have increasingly focused on healthcare labor markets. At the Antitrust in Healthcare Conference, Partner Kevin Pflum will speak on the panel “Healthcare Labor Markets: Antitrust Risks and Considerations.” He and co-panelists will discuss antitrust risks and considerations of labor market competition relating to consolidation, vertical integration, and contracting practices and their impact on the wages, benefits, and mobility of healthcare workers. Dr. Pflum’s co-panelists include Carmen Comsti from National Nurses United and Sara Clingan from the DOJ; the panel moderator is Leigh Oliver from Clifford Chance.
