Halbert White will be honored at the UCSD conference “Causality, Prediction, and Specification Analysis: Recent Advances and Future Directions” for his lifelong achievement in the field of econometrics. Attending the conference will be many of Dr. White’s current and former students as well as coauthors.
Dr. White is one of the world’s leading economists, recognized for setting new research standards and influencing a broad range of economic disciplines. He has published more than 100 books and articles and holds the unique distinction of having authored the most-cited paper in the peer-reviewed economics literature since 1970.
