Bates White’s Summer Consultant Program was named the #1 best internship program for consulting firms and #7 for all firms for 2018.
The rankings are based on Vault’s survey of more than 12,000 interns from more than 100 internship programs. Respondents rated their experience in five categories: quality of life, compensation and benefits, interview process, career development, and full-time employment prospects.
In completing the survey, one former Bates White Summer Consultant said, "The firm culture was amazing, and you are working on live cases, so you learn so much every day. I think I learned more during my 10 weeks at Bates White than during my first three years of college combined.”

Bates White offers Summer Consultants a 10-week program that includes extensive training, quantitative and qualitative client work, mentoring by senior leadership, social events, and opportunities to organize a community service project. “The success of our summer internship program is a testament to the incredible dedication and hard work of our employees. The results are especially exciting, as Bates White was named the #1 Top Workplace for mid-size companies in DC by The Washington Post in 2017.
