State Center Healthcare Antitrust Workshop

The availability of adequate, affordable healthcare remains a critical issue for consumers. Combinations and affiliations in the market continue to occur, presenting some novel antitrust issues. This workshop will consider how state antitrust bureaus should analyze, investigate, and litigate these matters. Partner Cory Capps will present on the panel “Litigating with Limited Resources.” The panel will discuss a number of issues surrounding this topic, including challenges of such litigation, the pros and cons of retaining outside counsel, and the role of the economist.
