Alice Ndikumana, PhD

Alice Ndikumana specializes in applied microeconomics, industrial organization, and antitrust economics and has expertise in hospital, health insurance, and pharmaceutical markets. Alice has conducted empirical analyses of competition, market definition, and market power. She has supported testifying experts and provided consulting support on engagements involving mergers, antitrust litigation, and heath policy.

Alice completed her PhD in health economics at Harvard University in the Health Policy program. Her dissertation research examined questions related to competition in the market for generic prescription drugs, insurance design, Medicaid, and care for low-income populations. Prior to her doctoral studies, Alice worked at Deloitte Consulting, where she advised national health insurers on readiness for Health Insurance Marketplaces introduced by the Affordable Care Act (ACA), post-merger integration, and a system-wide pharmacy electronic health records migration.
