Naibin Chen has a track record of delivering rigorous economic analyses across diverse industries, including chemicals, payments, and technology.
In his work conducting economic analyses of competition, Naibin Chen has focused on advocacy and litigation work on behalf of private clients. His experience includes pre-merger analysis, merger advocacy, price-fixing, exclusionary restrictions, and anticompetitive conduct. His works spans a wide range of industries, including agricultural, chemical, healthcare, payment, pharmaceutical, and technology. Naibin specialized in industrial organization and applied microeconomics in his doctoral work. His research focused on consumer choices and firm choices in the motion picture industry, and he processed extensive data sets, leveraging state-of-the-art tools to manage his analyses. He co-authored a paper that investigates the extent and impact of researchers’ decision making in applied microeconomic analyses, which was published in Economic Inquiry.
Outside of case work, Naibin serves on several committees and employee networks that focus on firm culture or technology. He helps organize educational programming and community services programs to raise awareness, encourage involvement, and enhance everyone’s sense of belonging.
