Chris Bennett is an economist and accredited professional statistician with expertise in economic and financial analysis, damages estimation, data analytics, and econometric modeling. With over a decade of experience working on complex, high-stakes matters, Chris brings a proven track record of delivering rigorous and compelling expert testimony in federal and state courts. He has been retained by a diverse set of clients to testify on key issues such as damages, loss causation, and other critical economic and statistical topics in a wide range of cases.
Before joining Bates White, Chris was an Assistant Professor of Economics at Vanderbilt University, conducting original research and teaching courses in statistics and econometrics. His research contributions have been featured in premier academic journals, including the Journal of Financial Econometrics, International Economic Review, Journal of Business and Economic Statistics, and Journal of the American Statistical Association.
