- In United States et al. v. Google LLC (Ad Tech), in which Google allegedly monopolized markets for publisher ad servers, ad exchanges, and advertiser ad networks for open-web display advertising, supported the testifying economic expert on behalf of the Department of Justice (DOJ).
- On behalf of the DOJ in the matter United States et al. v. Google LLC, supported the expert’s analysis of claims that Google illegally maintained monopolies in the markets for general search services, search advertising, and general search text advertising.
- On behalf of numerous direct-action plaintiffs in In re Rail Freight Fuel Surcharge Antitrust Litigation, supported the expert in calculating overcharges from defendants’ alleged conspiracy to increase the price of rail freight transportation services in the United States in part by agreeing on and imposing unreasonable fuel surcharges.
- On behalf of the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), supported the expert in analyzing the proposed $70 billion merger between Microsoft and video game publisher Activision Blizzard.
- Provided support to testifying experts in an arbitration related to monopolization claims within the credit card industry.
- Supported the expert analysis of Dr. Leemore Dafny on behalf of the FTC in its action to enjoin Hackensack Meridian Health’s proposed acquisition of Englewood Health. Evaluated the market definition and competitive effects for inpatient general acute care services. Evaluated the efficiencies, cost savings, and other procompetitive effects claimed by the merging parties’ economic experts.
