Eric Emch and Nicholas Hill speak on panels at ABA Antitrust Law Spring Meeting

Partners Eric Emch and Nicholas Hill will participate in the 73rd ABA Antitrust Law Spring Meeting.

On April 2, 3:30–5:00 pm (ET), Partner Eric Emch will speak on the panel “Fundamentals— Economics.” Dr. Emch and his co-panelists will explain the basic concepts crucial to antitrust cases with a focus on damages, econometrics, and more. Sergei Zaslavsky of O'Melveny & Myers LLP will chair and moderate; Dr. Emch’s co-panelists will include Antara Dutta of Amazon, Jorge Padilla of Compass Lexecon, and Claire Xe of NERA Economic Consulting.

On April 3, 8:30–10:00 am (ET), Partner Nicholas Hill will speak on the panel “Building Effective Expert Testimony.” Dr. Hill and his co-panelists will address the role of experts in antitrust cases and tackle topics such as how to make economics persuasive to diverse factfinders, how trial themes are integrated into expert work, and what new methodologies can be used. Ian Simmons of O'Melveny & Myers LLP will chair and moderate; Dr. Hill’s co-panelists will include Kelly Fayne of Latham & Watkins LLP, Megan E. Jones of Hausfeld LLP, and Minjae Song of The Brattle Group.
