Hedge fund due diligence
Our Academic Affiliate provided expert testimony in an investor lawsuit regarding due diligence. Performed analysis to show that an international bank failed to exercise proper due diligence in approving investments in a feeder fund that invested in a hedge fund engaged in fraud. Analyzed the hedge fund strategy and conducted due diligence checks that should have been performed in making initial investment recommendation.
