Ben Wolfert speaks on leveraging expert pro bono support to build stronger legal services organizations

Legal services organizations are the backbone of access to justice, yet many operate with persistent resource constraints that limit their ability to meet community needs. At the PBI 2026 Annual Conference, Partner Ben Wolfert will speak in the Pre-Conference portion: Maximizing Access, Maximizing Justice: Expanding Pro Bono Beyond Traditional Limits. He will participate in the panel “Pro Bono for Institutional Resilience: Leveraging Expert Support to Build Stronger Legal Services Organizations.”

Mr. Wolfert and his co-panelists will discuss how expert services providers enhance these organizations’ institutional resilience by means of non-legal and tactical assistance, ultimately helping them advance systemic reform efforts more effectively and support a greater number of clients. Examples of support include:

  • Budget and policy analysis
  • Strategic planning
  • Data management
  • Operational analyses

This session reinforces that experts can strengthen the infrastructure, strategy, and capacity that enable legal services organizations to expand and sustain their impact.

His fellow speakers include Samantha DiDomenico of Stout, Johnathan Hill of Relativity, and Kathy Zeisel of Children's Law Center.
