Andrew Evans was retained by an insurer to address the valuation of, and potential coverage for, sexual abuse claims and related investigations tied to the USA Gymnastics bankruptcy proceedings. Mr. Evans analyzed insurance policies and claims to determine which claims were subject to coverage under certain policies and to advise on an equitable allocation. Ultimately, the work was used in the evaluation of multiple insurers’ potential contributions and contributed to all parties reaching a $380 million settlement.
