Holt Dwyer specializes in estimating and forecasting potential liabilities in mass tort and bankruptcy matters. He has extensive experience in the analysis of large-scale, complex data sets and supports experts in analyzing product liability issues in the context of bankruptcy procedures and settlement support.

In his doctoral work at the University of California, San Diego, Holt specialized in development economics and empirical macroeconomics. He leveraged GIS and remote sensing data to analyze the effectiveness of legal forest protections and combined comprehensive nationwide contract- and firm-level microdata to analyze the effects of government contracts on employment growth at contractor firms. Holt’s research reviewing the non-health (cognitive, behavioral, and workplace productivity) effects of air pollution has been published in the Annual Review of Resource Economics. He enjoys the challenge of linking previously isolated datasets to unlock new insights and the intensive collaborative atmosphere of a research team. When not at the office, Holt can frequently be found playing ultimate frisbee or enjoying a trip to the National Gallery.
