Bates White Partner Charles Mullin honored by Higher Achievement
At its 2026 Going Places annual fundraiser yesterday evening, Higher Achievement honored Bates White Partner Charlie Mullin for his long-standing commitment to supporting scholars and advancing the organization’s mission.
Higher Achievement is a vital resource for middle school students in underserved communities, providing academic enrichment, mentorship, and leadership development during a pivotal stage in their education. The nonprofit’s proven program helps scholars build the skills, confidence, and support networks they need to thrive in high school, college, and beyond.
When a colleague introduced Dr. Mullin to Higher Achievement two decades ago, he was struck by the organization’s powerful combination of academics, social mentorship, and leadership development—an approach that helps level the playing field for scholars and enables them to graduate from college at three times the rate of their peers.
Since then, Dr. Mullin has been a dedicated champion of Higher Achievement and Bates White’s partnership with the organization. He has helped create opportunities for Bates White employees to volunteer and provide career exposure for scholars. He also serves as a fiduciary board member, advises on Higher Achievement’s financial strategy, and supports the organization’s endowment.
Higher Achievement’s Going Places event celebrated the talents of its scholars and the contributions of its community. The evening featured a scholar-led program and alumni speakers who demonstrated what is possible when students receive the right support at the right time.
Bates White is proud to congratulate Dr. Mullin on this well-deserved honor and to support Higher Achievement’s inspiring work to help students reach their full potential.
