Neale Mahoney delivers keynote speech at Toulouse School of Economics’ 4th Health Economics Conference

Affiliate Neale Mahoney was one of two keynote speakers at the Toulouse School of Economics’ 4th Health Economics Conference. Prof. Mahoney spoke about his research on “The Rise of Healthcare Jobs” (with Joshua Gottlieb, Kevin Rinz, and Victoria Udalova).

Prof. Mahoney is the Trione Director of the Stanford Institute for Economic Policy Research, the TG Wijaya Professor of Economics at Stanford University, and the inaugural George P. Shultz Fellow at the Stanford Institute for Economic Policy Research.

The conference seeks to examine new research and developments related to the structure, management, and regulation of the healthcare and pharmaceutical industries. It offers a forum for discussing findings that can inform health policy, especially in areas linked to investment in health systems and innovation.
