Eric Emch speaks on digital platforms and remedies at Bill Kovacic Antitrust Salon

Enforcement in digital platform markets is undergoing a key shift. At the Bill Kovacic Antitrust Salon, Eric Emch will explore this in the panel “Big Tech: Breakups, Behavioral Remedies—What’s Changing? Digital Platform Enforcement Is Moving from Major Decisions to Implementing and Supervising.”

Dr. Emch and his co-panelists plan to discuss remedies—including their effects, how they get operationalized, and difficulties in ensuring compliance. They’ll also address big topics in 2026, such as algorithmic opacity and cross-platform tying.

Dr. Emch’s fellow speakers include Liza Lovdahl Gormsen of the Competition Law Forum and the British Institute of International and Comparative Law and Adam T. Severt of the US Department of Justice. Scott Hemphill of the NYU School of Law will moderate.
