Nicholas Hill and Cory Capps speak on panels at ABA Antitrust Law Spring Meeting

Partners Nicholas Hill and Cory Capps will participate in the 74th Antitrust Law Spring Meeting.

On March 25, 9:00–10:15 am (ET), Nicholas Hill will speak on the panel, “Clear Skies?” Dr. Hill and his co-panelists plan to explore the outlook of airline consolidation (collaborations of competitors, mergers, etc.). They’ll discuss whether this consolidation has “wind at its back—or is turbulence ahead?” Grant A. Bermann of Milbank LLP will chair and moderate; Dr. Hill’s co-panelists will include Andrew C. Finch of Cravath Swaine & Moore LLP, Nathan Miller of Georgetown University McDonough School of Business, and Kathy O'Neill of Fried Frank Harris Shriver & Jacobson LLP.

On March 26, 3:30–5:00 pm (ET), Cory Capps will speak on the panel “Counseling Strategic Deals in Healthcare.” In a landscape where mergers in life sciences, healthcare, and biopharma are intensely scrutinized, Dr. Capps and his co-panelists will discuss how “today's enforcers are reshaping tomorrow's rules for deals of all sizes.” Jody Boudreault of Baker Botts LLP will chair and moderate; Dr. Capp’s co-panelists will include Attorney Jordan Andrew, Rahul Rao of White & Case LLP, Emilio Varanini of the California Office of the Attorney General, and Amanda L. Wait of Michael Best & Friedrich LLP.
