Leemore Dafny and Michael Whinston speak at 15th Annual Northwestern Conference on Antitrust Economics and Competition Policy

The Northwestern Center on Law, Business, and Economics at Northwestern Pritzker School of Law and the Center for the Study of Industrial Organization at Northwestern present the Fifteenth Annual Conference on Antitrust Economics and Competition Policy.

Partner Leemore Dafny will be a discussant of the papers “In the Shadow of Antitrust Enforcement: Price Effects of Hospital Mergers from 2009–2016” (Keith Brand and Ted Rosenbaum) and “Is There Too Little Antitrust Enforcement in the US Hospital Sector?” (Zarek Brot-Goldberg, Stuart Craig, and Lev Klarnet). Partner Michael Whinston will be a panelist for “The New US Merger Guidelines,” along with co-panelists Michael Katz, University of California at Berkeley; Nancy L. Rose, MIT; Fiona Scott Morton, Yale, and Howard Shelanski, Georgetown Law.
