Bates White’s expert, Karl Snow, provided expert testimony in a breach of contract dispute regarding the assets purchased by the asset manager and trustee of a European Collateralized Debt Obligation (CDO). Bates White estimated damages resulting from the alleged mismanagement of the underlying assets and failure to adhere to the assets’ eligibility criteria contained in the governing indenture. Additionally, a valuation analysis of credit default swap instruments purchased by the asset manager was performed.
