Provided expert testimony on behalf of Anthem Blue Cross of California in connection with an arbitration proceeding initiated by Tenet Healthcare alleging that Anthem breached its contract by creating a restricted network of hospital providers for beneficiaries of the Affordable Care Act and individual health insurance plans in Southern California without allowing Tenet to participate at similar payment rates. Evaluated the payment rates offered by Anthem to Tenet and determined that they were similar to rates accepted by other hospitals.
