Joshua Horvath, PhD

Josh Horvath has significant experience using statistical methods and big data tools to extract insights from data-intensive matters. He also has deep familiarity developing both technical and non-technical reports and briefs while effectively communicating results to clients in an easy-to-understand way. His work currently focuses on cases in the healthcare industry.

Before joining Bates White, Josh was a senior research scientist at the Center for Naval Analyses, where he applied econometric methods to address personnel issues relevant to the Navy and Marine Corps. Josh received his PhD from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill; his research focused on the effects of charter schools on student academic outcomes.
