Drew Howard provides valuation and analysis of natural gas forward contracts, reconciliation of energy crisis settlement valuations, and forecasting of prices in the global nuclear power market. He worked on assessing the impacts of the Clean Power Plan and developing compliance strategies for utility and state clients. Additionally, he maintains Bates White’s Mexican electricity retail pricing forecast model by forecasting changes in expected generation mix and commodity price fluctuations, along with other market modeling duties. He has worked on a number of intellectual property and finance matters; most recently, he assisted with determining the appropriate allocation of over $800 million of copyright royalties at issue in a Copyright Royalties Board arbitration.
