Global Competition Review recognizes Bates White's partners and affiliates as leading competition economists

June 12, 2009

Six Bates White partners and affiliates have been recognized as among the world’s leading competition economists in Global Competition Review’s The International Who’s Who of Competition Lawyers and Economists 2009. Economists selected for inclusion in this highly esteemed publication must meet specific criteria determined by Global Competition Review’s staff who conduct extensive qualitative analysis of client feedback and peer reviews.

Furthermore, ESMT Competition Analysis (ESMT CA), the subsidiary economics consulting firm of ESMT European School of Management and Technology, was named in Global Competition Review’s “Economics 20,” a listing of the world’s leading competition economics firms. Selection into this group of 20 firms is highly competitive and determined by an independent survey that analyzes firms’ size, presence of leading economists, recent successes, and market visibility. Less than two years after its founding, ESMT CA is the only German firm featured in this list. “We were quite pleased that our colleagues at ESMT CA received this prestigious honor. They provide excellent client service that draws upon their deep talent and experience, and it’s rewarding to see their accomplishments recognized by the competition community,” said Randal Heeb, Bates White Partner.
