February 5, 2010

Bates White has been named in Global Competition Review’s “Economics 20,” a listing of the world’s leading competition economics firms. Global Competition Review recognized Bates White’s work supporting AMD in its landmark case against Intel and noted the firm’s involvement in competition matters including the Delta/Northwest airline merger, Sun Microsystems’s case against DRAM manufacturers, and the Google/Yahoo! search advertising agreementGlobal Competition Review also referenced Bates White’s current work with ESMT Competition Analysis, the firm’s European partner, to provide analysis and expert testimony for several leading tire manufacturers involved in a cartel case filed in Europe.

Bates White’s Antitrust Practice comprises 91 competition specialists, including four economists (Douglas Bernheim, Halbert White, George Rozanski, and Marius Schwartz) recognized by Global Competition Review in its 2010 survey of leading competition economists, The International Who’s Who of Competition Economists.
