Eric Emch will speak on the panel “Innovation and Merger Control.” Regulators see innovation as a key competitive parameter in a range of industries, including life sciences, high technology, and agri-business. Panelists will discuss its increasing importance.
Nicholas Hill will participate in the session “Effective Engagement: Working with the Government.” Panelists will discuss what works and what doesn’t when engaging with the government and provide tips for sharing complex analyses and preparing clients for the investigatory process.
Michael Whinston is a speaker on the panel “The Price Is Right: How to Know.” Courts and regulators continue to wrestle with the analytic framework to apply to bundled pricing and loyalty discounts. Panelists will address several questions, such as what the benefits of or justifications for this type of conduct are and how companies can safely set conditioned prices while the law is so uncertain.
