Charlie Mullin provided testimony on behalf of the debtors in Aearo Technologies Chapter 11 bankruptcy, which sought to address claims tied to the In re 3M Combat Arms Earplug Products Liability Litigation (the largest multi-district litigation in US history) that purported defects in its earplugs led to hearing loss for over 230,000 US military service members. Aearo and its parent company 3M reached a $6 billion settlement in August 2023.
