In re Methionine Antitrust Litigation
On behalf of Direct Action Plaintiffs, Bates White Partner
Dr. David W. DeRamus
testified in a major price-fixing case involving
the feed additives industry. Issues included establishment of
liability, estimation of damages, analysis of industry structure,
analysis of financial performance, and other pricing-related issues.
Dr. Halbert White,
Bates White Founder and Professor of Economics at the University
of California, San Diego, also testified with respect to the appropriate
use of statistics and regression analysis in establishing liability
and estimating damages.
