Antitrust Practice

The Antitrust Practice is distinguished by its application of advanced economic, financial, and statistical theory to the analysis of antitrust liability and damages. Bates White experts have played a critical role in some of the highest profile antitrust cases in history. Our analyses have addressed a range of issues, including monopolization, pricing, market definition, structure and concentration, damages and liability analysis, class certification, competitive effects of exclusive dealing and tying arrangements, mergers and acquisitions, joining venues, efficiencies, and failing firm claims.

Bates White professionals form close partnerships with clients to provide cost-effective and individualized solutions. The antitrust team advises clients on case development and strategy, works alongside them to assess the strengths and weaknesses of economic arguments, and provides analysis and advice to determine the best litigation and settlement strategies. Bates White assists clients through all phases of the litigation process, including client support, data management, discovery support, and expert testimony.

Bates White also maintains strong relationships with key academics and industry experts to complement our firm’s expertise.
