Paolo Ramezzana, Ph.D.

Paolo Ramezzana has extensive research and consulting experience in theoretical and empirical microeconomics.
Dr. Ramezzana specializes in the evaluation of the competitive effects of exclusionary conduct, mergers, and
price-fixing. On these issues, he has advised several high-profile clients in a broad range of industries in the United
States and Europe.
Dr. Ramezzana was a consultant for Frontier Economics and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development in London.
He also served as an Assistant Professor of Economics at the University of Virginia, where he taught microeconomic theory
and international economics. His research has been published in the Journal of Industrial Economics and the
European Economic Review.
