Vlad Olic specializes in valuing public and private companies, assets, liabilities,
and securities by utilizing complex financial modeling techniques. Mr. Olic has
extensive experience in capital markets, strategic planning, transfer pricing, and
international negotiations. He advises clients and supports expert testimony on
enterprise and option valuation, lost profits, value impairment, solvency,
acquisition structure, market definition, and competitive effects. Mr. Olic assists
clients on all aspects of the litigation process, including developing case strategy
and theories of damages, discovery efforts, expert report preparation, depositions
and testimony, and trial preparation.
Prior to joining Bates White, Mr. Olic served as a Senior Financial Analyst in
various U.S. and European offices of Capital One, the Fortune 200 financial services
company and credit card issuer. Previously, he was a Financial Analyst with Global
Telesystems Group, a European Specialist with Leboeuf, Lamb, Greene & MacRae,
and Vice President of Bainbridge Financial Corporation. Mr. Olic also has extensive
experience in sports media as a reporter, commentator, producer and anchor,
including serving as the play-by-play voice of NBA basketball on Yugoslav Television
throughout the 1990s. He speaks four languages: English, Serbian, Croatian, and
Bosnian.
