Bates White LLC to host MCCA Mid-Atlantic Region Diversity Dialogue
WASHINGTON, D.C., July 31, 2006—Bates White LLC will host the
Minority Corporate Counsel Association (MCCA) Mid-Atlantic Region Diversity Dialogue on
September 19, 2006. This panel discussion, which will take place at Bates White’s
Washington, D.C., office, is a follow-up to the MCCA Mid-Atlantic diversity awards dinner
held on June 13, also in Washington, D.C. At the dinner, MCAA named the recipients of two
awards: the Employers of Choice award and the Sager award.
Matthew Raiff, Bates White Managing Partner, will serve as the moderator. The panel will
include representatives from each award-winning organization. “We are delighted to be

The Employers of Choice award spotlights industry leaders who have a commitment to, and
succeed at, creating and maintaining an inclusive corporate legal department. The 2006 winners
were AOL, Comcast, and Discovery Communications. The Sager award is given to law firms that
have demonstrated sustained commitment to improve the hiring, retention, and promotion of minority
attorneys. The 2006 Sager winner is Dickstein Shapiro, LLP.
