Bates White supports two charities for the 2005
holiday season
WASHINGTON, D.C., December 28, 2005—Bates White, a national
economic consulting firm, is supporting two non-profit organizations,
Rebuilding Together and Bread for the City, this holiday season.
Bates White is making a financial donation to Rebuilding Together,
an organization involved in rebuilding and repairing homes in
New Orleans and other hurricane-affected areas. Specific to Hurricanes
Katrina and Rita, Rebuilding Together launched a program called
Rebuild 1000 with the goal of rebuilding 1,000 homes affected
by these hurricanes. Bates White’s donation is earmarked
specifically for the Rebuild 1000 program.
In addition, Bates White is making a financial donation to Washington,
D.C.’s local charity, Bread for the City. The firm continued
its tradition of sponsoring a wine raffle during its holiday galas
in which all funds, along with a matching contribution by the
firm, are donated to Bread for the City. Bates White has worked
closely with this organization for the past few years, volunteering
time and money, and the firm is pleased to continue its ongoing
support.
