Dr. Jonathan A. Lesser joins Bates White’s
Energy Practice
WASHINGTON, D.C., July 27, 2004—Bates White, LLC, a national
economics consulting firm, announced the addition of noted economist,
Dr. Jonathan A. Lesser, as a principal in the firm’s Energy
Practice.
Dr. Lesser’s testimony experience in determination of cost
of capital, market power, valuation, and stranded cost determinations
adds an important dimension to the firm’s growing Energy
Practice.
He has more than 20 years of experience working for electric
utilities, government, and academia. Dr. Lesser has testified
before state public utility commissions and in commercial litigation
cases in multiple states, as well as before the Federal Regulatory
Commission (FERC). He received his Ph.D. in Economics from the
University of Washington and his B.S. in Mathematics (with honors)
from the University of New Mexico.
