Bates White Partner Dr. David DeRamus presents
at American Antitrust Institute
WASHINGTON, D.C., January 21, 2004—Bates White, LLC, a
national economics consulting firm, announced that Bates White
Partner Dr. David DeRamus presented at the American Antitrust
Institute’s Fourth Annual Energy Roundtable Workshop.
DeRamus’s presentation focused on electric utility reintegration
and vertical market and potential foreclosure. Specifically, he
discussed recent market developments relating to vertical reintegration
of electric utilities, economic theory and the potential anticompetitive
consequences of vertical reintegration, and vertical reintegration
of electric utilities in practice.
