Bates White Partner, Leslie Marx, wins “Best Economics Article - 2015 Antitrust Writing Awards”

April 15, 2015

Leslie Marx (Bates White Partner and Duke University Professor of Economics) and Claudio Mezzetti (University of Melbourne Professor of Economics) were awarded “Best Economics Article - 2015 Antitrust Writing Awards” for their article, “Effects of Antitrust Leniency on Concealment Effort by Colluding Firms” by the Institute of Competition Law Concurrences Journal. The results also suggest possible benefits from increasing penalties for cartels that use third-party facilitators.
